Professional 3D technical environment artist and educator for the past nine years.
I teach both introductory & advanced courses on previsualization, worldbuilding, interactive storytelling, game design, background illustration, character art, 3D animation, single/multiplayer level design, technical material scripting, prop modeling/texturing, environment art, Unreal Blueprinting, and game prototype planning/production for approximately 70 students per quarter.
Independent contracting for game art, design and programming for Vertex Inc. and Ghost Technologies. Scripting and sale of some of the most popular assets on the GMODStore. Additionally, work on several creative media projects including animated short films, a free JavaScript/JQuery API, scripting, and educational services.
Taught courses on introductory 2D/3D animation fundamentals, advanced modeling for real-time systems (low-poly & high-poly workflows), advanced web design and scripting (JS/JQuery), programming for games and 2D graphics scripting.
Taught labs on digital video editing for film and animation departments. Rebuilt and acted as system admin for graduate computer laboratory.
Worked on several projects predominantly on environment art, but additional character art, rigging, animation, and 2D illustration published under Namco Games and Big Fish Games.
